Difference between evergreen and deciduous forests found in India:

mangrove forest

(i) These forests are generally found in those areas where the average annual temperature is around 28 °C and rainfall is 200 cm or more.

(ii) These forests are dense and the trees found in them are evergreen i.e. green throughout the year.

(iii) Rubber, Mahogany, Ironwood, Gurjan, Ebony, Nahar, Bamboo, bench,e s, etc. are the main trees found in this forest.

(i) These forests are found in those areas where the mean annual temperature is 20°-30° to 0 gray 0 and the average annual rainfall is 100 to 200 cm.

(ii) The density of these forests is less than that of evergreen forests and its trees shed their leaves at the beginning of summer so that their moisture is not lost and they can face dry weather.

(iii) Mango, Sheesham, Mahua, Teak, Palash, Amla, Sandalwood, Arjun, etc. are the main trees of this forest.
